miSci’s Adopt an Object program provides an exciting and unique way to support the Museum’s conservation efforts. Your gift allows us to care for the collection and helps ensure that these important objects can be viewed by the public and preserved for future generations.

Your tax-deductible adoption donation will help conserve more than 15,000 objects that relate to the history of innovation and document the impact the electrical industry of the Capital Region of New York has had on our modern world.

To begin your adoption, please browse the objects and click the item you’re interested in. There is no limit to the number of artifacts an individual or group can adopt. Adoptions are valid for one year.

As a special thank you for your support, adopters will receive:

• A virtual adoption certificate that includes a full-color photograph.
• Information from our curator about the object’s significance in history.
• Credit on miSci’s website.
