The Basics of Telescope Stargazing – Click Here to Register
- Come to miSci and learn about different techniques to navigate the night sky and find your way to the constellations or objects that you’re looking for, both with the naked eye and with a telescope. This class is led by miSci’s Astronomy Educator. Through viewing the night sky in the planetarium and using your telescope at the Museum, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to use it in your backyard or favorite stargazing site. This class is ideal for beginning amateur astronomers and new telescope owners. Participants should bring their telescope to the second session of class if they have one. If you don’t have a telescope miSci has some for participants to borrow during class. Please let us know if you need a telescope to borrow at the time you register.
- November 8th and 15th, 6-8 p.m.
- $45 per Participant
