Archives Services
miSci’s Archives consist of millions of advertising documents, business records, 2,000 books, 1,300 films, papers, 10,000 patents, and two million photographs. miSci staff can search for information in the Museum’s archives for a fee. Contact us for details, scheduling, and to request records.
Fee Schedule
Research
Research fees support the operation of the archives, including continued accessibility to the archives and the preservation and conservation of the collection.
- Standard – response within 4 weeks – $60/hr
- Weekly – response within 5 business days – $120/hr
- Express – next day service – $175/hr
Research beyond the first hour is prorated and charged in 15-minute increments. Fee schedule is determined by individual research agreement and late payment fees apply.
Digital Images Services
Image delivery will be via email or Dropbox.
- Previously Digitized Image – $25/Image
- New Digitization for Images – $25/Image + Research Time for Location, Retrieval, and Scan
- Previously Digitized Film – $50/Video
- New Digitization for Film – Custom. Price by Request
- Document Scanning – $20 Base Free + $0.25/Page
Usage (Rights and Reproductions)
- Film/Video – $25/Second
- Digital Image (Commercial Broadcasting Use) – $100/Image
- Digital Image (Scholarly Use) – No Additional Fee
