Summer class registration is open – use the button below to register.

The Museum offers onsite Summer Classes for children in grades K–5. miSci science communicators will cover a variety of engaging STEAM-related topics. Class activities include guided exhibit tours, outdoor games, Planetarium shows, and science demonstrations. Classes are presented separately for students in grades K–2 (minimum age 5 years), and for students in grades 3–5.

Astronomy Week

Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10
For this first week of summer classes, young learners get to explore the cosmos!

Theme Park Engineering

Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17
For this second week of summer classes, young learners get to stretch their design brains as they explore the engineering that builds thrill rides!

Dinosaur Adventures

Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24
For this third week of summer classes, students dive into the past and explore the world of the dinosaurs!

Coding & More

Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31
For week four we build our own clever computer contraptions and learn some programming!

Geology Rocks!

Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7
In week five we dig deep beneath the Earth and discover the hidden secrets of rocks and minerals!

Dinosaur Adventures – Take Two!

Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14
The first week filled up fast- so it’s take two! Get prehistoric with our favorite Mesozoic animals. Learn about dinosaurs, how they lived, what they ate, and what they left behind!


Break Week Classes are available on a first come, first-served basis and registration is required. Museum Members receive a 10% discount.
