Looks pretty complicated, doesn't it? It takes a lot of engineering design to make a parachute that is safe and effective, but local students are trying their hands at it!

Next Engineers Engineering Discovery programs started in the region last month, where learners in eighth and ninth grades joined up with volunteers from GE and miSci educators to design some "falling" machines. We were amazed by what students came up with, and we're excited to see what this month's students are going to make!
