miSci’s After Dark events are back! Mix sips and science for miSci’s adults-only Halloween party! Join us in costume, indulge in food from Flacos Tacos and themed alcoholic drinks for purchase. There will be spooky activities paired with planetarium shows. Enter our costume contest and raffle for a chance to win prizes!

Planetarium Shows
6: 30 – 7 pm – Cosmic Wonders: A Live Look at Halloween’s Night Sky
Learn about the constellations that are visible in our sky on Halloween night, what planets we will be able to see, and any astronomical events to look out for.

7:15 – 7:45 pm – Chasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe
Ghostly particles give us tantalizing looks into a world of exploding stars and black holes. Witness stunning views of the South Pole, captivating animations, and eye-catching views of the cosmos.

8 – 8:30 pm – Phantom of the Universe
Take a journey across Earth, space and time to learn about the mysterious phenomenon we call “dark matter”.
