June’s full moon has a moon-nickname tha 🍓🌕June’s full moon has a moon-nickname that reminds us how much we have in common with people who have come before us! No one wants to miss out on the fresh Strawberry season.

The Hatching moon is one other nickname for this June full moon, along with the Berries Ripen moon, Blooming moon and Hot moon. Regardless of what name you choose, this moon celebrates the beginning of warm weather! ☀️

Full Moon 6/11/25 A closer look at Virgo i 🌕Full Moon 6/11/25

✨A closer look at Virgo is a little tough to get! The constellation might be the second largest in the skies, but most of the stars are a bit too dim to see from most areas. Spica is the standout, looking beautifully bright and icy blue straight below red Arcturus.

The stories behind Virgo can also get muddled—people don’t agree! Some of the most popular stories say Virgo must be Demeter, Greek mythology’s “Goddess of Agriculture” because Spica translates roughly to “handful of wheat”. But Libra, the scales of justice, are right at the feet of the goddess as well, supporting the story that Virgo is Dike—goddess of justice. No matter what, this is a constellation high in the sky right now and even if you can’t see all the stars you’ll definitely find your way following bright Spica!
