During our summers, Earth’s tilted axis angles the Northern Hemisphere towards the Sun. The extra Sun power gives us that summer heat, long days, and short nights. From here on out, the days will be getting shorter, but it is not something you’ll remember while you’re enjoying all of this sunshine! Yesterday, the longest day of sunlight was over 15 hours, and today is only 1 second shorter. So remember your sunscreen, and enjoy our home star!
