It's a blast from our science past! Ever wonder what it takes to broadcast radio for hundreds of miles around? About 100 years ago the equipment in this room was used to transmit AM radio. Check out the rack of vacuum tubes in the back, and the barrel sized transformers in front- all to send out news, music, and more to anyone with a receiver. 📻
