Weekend Workshop- Origami: Evolution of an Art

In celebration of Origami Day, join miSci for a fun and fascinating origami workshop. Origami art is experiencing a renaissance, and this ancient Japanese art of paper folding is also contributing to innovation and engineering advancements in all sorts of technical fields. Learn about some of the very cool applications of origami in recent years, hear about its origins and create an easy and fun creation to bring home. Kits with origami paper and templates will be available in the miSci gift shop for purchase! Workshops will be offered at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
