November 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

Come to miSci and learn how to navigate the night sky and find your way to amazing objects, both with your eyes and with a telescope, in this two evening course! miSci’s astronomy educator will take you through viewing the sky and give you the skills and knowledge to use a telescope in your backyard or favorite stargazing site. Great for beginning telescope owners and amateur astronomers!

Participants should bring their telescope if they have one, and miSci will provide telescopes to borrow for the class for particpants that do not have one. Please let us know in the order comments if you have a telescope you’ll be bringing or will need one to borrow.

This class consists of two class sessions, one on November 8th (Telescope Background and Handling) and one on November 15th (Getting Ready to Observe).

As always, miSci members get 10% off!
