Little Edisons – Waiting for Wings

Little Edisons read the visually stunning book Waiting for Wings by Lois Ehlert and learn about the life cycle of the butterfly. Then they make a model of the four phases of a butterfly’s life and create their own unique butterfly to take home.

miSci’s Little Edisons program, for kids ages 3 to 5, is fun way to nurture the curiosity of pint-sized future engineers, chemists, and inventors. Sessions are 45 minutes long and feature hands-on activities designed to teach problem solving and encourage the joy of discovery. Little Edisons takes place Wednesdays, from 12 to 12:45 p.m., and Saturdays, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. The fee is $12 per child for non-members and $10 for Members. Adults accompanying a child are not required to purchase an additional ticket. Materials are included.
