FREE Community STEM Event- Going Places >> Changing the World

November 4 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm EDT

RPI and the Albany International Airport will host a community-wide educational science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) program titled Going Places >> Changing the World. This event is available for all community members and students in all grade levels. Exhibits include RPI student clubs such as RPI Engineering Ambassadors, Semiconductor Chip Champs, Drones Club, Materials Advantage, chemE car, engineering a sustainable world, the Forge – a maker-space, Science Ambassadors, computer science projects, and more. There will also be RPI research labs with groundbreaking science and engineering. miSci is participating as an educational partner and is offering dry ice demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Other educational partners will also be present at the event to showcase their STEM resources, including the HVCC Aeronautical Technology Institute.

The event is FREE and will take place on Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Million Air at the Albany International Airport, located at 16 Jetway Drive, Albany, NY 12211.
