Celestial Melodies at Suits-Bueche Planetarium

Celebrating the composer and astronomer William Herschel, “Celestial Melodies” includes a specially developed sky show that accompanies the musical program. Featuring dazzling images and unique looks at the constellations as they appeared in Herschel’s lifetime, the performance also features the world premiere of a new work titled “Invocation” by Max Caplan that was inspired by the NASA data sonification project.
