Little Wonders of Science: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Introduce preschoolers to wind energy with an educator-led reading of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba followed by some hands-on activities.
Little Wonders of Science inspires curiosity through stories, play, and special hands-on activities specifically created for children ages 3-5. Held on the third Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning of every month, the Little Wonders of Science program introduces new STEM topics monthly.
Come early for a special 10 am showing in miSci's planetarium of "One World, One Sky" (additional $5/ person), and leave with the materials to continue the study of science at home.
